Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Numbizz is a mobile and cloud-based business intelligence platform that connects to your Tally accounting software and makes your business data accessible on your smartphone. It is operated by Raj International, registered and headquartered in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Numbizz mobile application and associated services, how we use and protect that information, and the choices available to you. By installing or using Numbizz you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application and discontinue use.

This policy is governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, applicable to the Republic of India.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Business data synced from Tally

The Numbizz Connector application, installed on your Windows PC, reads data from your local Tally installation over its standard HTTP/TDL interface. This includes:

• Ledger master records (account names, groups, balances, GST details)
• Vouchers (sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal, contra, credit notes, debit notes)
• Stock items and stock groups
• Party (customer and supplier) names, addresses, and outstanding balances
• Company name and financial year settings

This data belongs to your business. We store it on our servers solely to display it within the Numbizz application.

Account information

• Your name, mobile number, and email address (provided during registration)
• Role within your organisation (owner, manager, sales team member)
• Device name and push notification token (for in-app alerts)

Location data

If you enable the sales-team field visit feature, the application collects your GPS coordinates at the time of check-in to verify that you are at the correct location. Location is not collected in the background; it is requested only when you initiate a check-in.

Usage and diagnostic data

• App version, device model, and operating system version
• Error reports and crash logs collected via Sentry (see Third-Party Services)
• Feature usage patterns used to improve the product (no personally identifiable information is linked to analytics events)

3. How We Use Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

• Providing the service: to display your Tally reports, outstanding balances, stock summaries, and other business data inside the Numbizz mobile application.
• Payment reminders: to help you prepare a payment reminder for a customer. When you tap "Send on WhatsApp," the app opens WhatsApp on your own device with the message pre-filled; you send it yourself from your own WhatsApp account. Numbizz does not send any message on your behalf and does not transmit the message or the recipient's number to any third-party messaging service.
• Voucher write-back: to post vouchers you create in the app back into your Tally installation via the Connector.
• Subscription and billing: to manage your Numbizz subscription, process payments via Razorpay, and issue invoices.
• Account management: to authenticate users, manage roles, send password reset emails, and send transactional notifications about your account.
• Product improvement: to understand which features are used and to fix errors and crashes.

We do not use your data to train machine-learning models or for advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, located in Germany. Hetzner operates under ISO 27001 certification and European data-centre physical security standards. While the servers are physically in Germany, the service is operated by and under the jurisdiction of Indian law.

We apply the following technical measures to protect your data:

• All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
• Data at rest is encrypted at the storage layer.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel via key-based authentication.
• Every database query is scoped to your tenant account; no query can return another business's data by design.
• Authentication tokens expire after 15 minutes; refresh tokens expire after 7 days.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your business data or personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

Numbizz uses the following third-party services. Each processes limited data necessary to fulfil its function:

• Razorpay (Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd., India): payment processing for Numbizz subscriptions. Razorpay handles card and UPI payment details directly; we do not store card numbers or CVV on our servers. Refer to Razorpay's privacy policy at razorpay.com/privacy.
• Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., USA): error and crash monitoring. Sentry receives stack traces and device metadata when the app encounters an unexpected error. We have configured Sentry to redact authentication tokens and sensitive fields before transmission. Refer to Sentry's privacy policy at sentry.io/privacy.

We do not share your data with any party beyond those listed above and what is required by applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your Numbizz subscription remains active. If you close your account or your subscription lapses beyond the grace period, we will delete your business data, personal information, and all associated records within 30 days of receiving your written deletion request sent to rajinternational1152@gmail.com.

Billing records and invoices may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax law (GST compliance).

Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to any individual or business may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal information and business data stored in Numbizz:

• Access: You may request a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: If any information is inaccurate, you may request that we correct it.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data. See Data Retention above for the timeline.
• Portability: Where reasonably feasible, and on written request, we will provide a copy of your business data in a common machine-readable format such as CSV or Excel. This export is intended for your own records and analysis; it is not a Tally-format file and cannot be re-imported into Tally. Tally remains your system of record, and your original data continues to reside in your own Tally installation.
• Withdrawal of consent: You may stop using the application and request account closure at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

8. Children's Privacy

Numbizz is a business software product intended for use by adults operating or employed by registered businesses. It is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information through our service, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we offer, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by displaying a notice within the Numbizz application and, where appropriate, by email to the address associated with your account. The updated policy will carry a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of Numbizz after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
